NRV Control Systems is no startup. They are the market leader in Panama’s security sector, having spent two decades building trust with major institutions. The brand’s visual identity was stuck in a past era, while the technology they offered was years ahead of the competition. Our mission was to find connection between their heritage and modern High-Tech.
[THE CHALLENGE]
Established brands often fear drastic change. The client needed a refresh but couldn't afford to become unrecognizable to their long-term partners. The legacy logo was heavy, rigid, and failed to adapt to modern digital platforms.
[THE SOLUTION]

In the security industry, design is more than just aesthetics - it is a message of precision. If your branding looks outdated, clients subconsciously assume your security systems are too. We had to "rewrite" the NRV visual code into the language of modern software.

  • We transitioned the logotype to lowercase. This immediate shift modernized the brand, giving it the agile character of a "software house" while making it more approachable to the user.
  • The letterforms are built on solid, vertical pillars. Visually, these communicate reliability—the very foundation upon which security is built.
[THE RESULT]
A brand identity that looks just as professional on a skyscraper facade in Panama City as it does on a mobile app icon. We preserved NRV’s status as a leader while injecting it with a fresh, digital energy.
